Star Micronics is proud to introduce the mC-Print2™, its new retail POS mCollection’s 2-inch point of sale (POS) printer.
Star’s mC-Print2 compliments the sleek and modern aesthetics of tomorrow’s retail environment, while providing the exceptional functionality you need today. This top loading, 2-inch, compact receipt printer features up to five communication interfaces in one model: traditional USB, Lightning USB (data and charge USB for iOS), MFi Bluetooth, and Ethernet (Local, WebPRNT and CloudPRNT).
It also includes Hub functionality for communications with peripherals including cash drawers, scanners, customer displays, and scales. This flexibility makes it ideal for many applications, from legacy POS to the latest tablet and web-based solutions, in grocery, pharmacy, salon, restaurant, and other retail and hospitality environments.

SteadyLAN™ is a patent pending technology that provides wired Ethernet service to iOS tablets connected to a networked printer via Apple’s Lightning cable (iOS10 or later required). For locations where Wi-Fi connectivity is not possible or unreliable, this new technology is a world first, providing the stability of a cabled LAN connection for tablet POS systems. By connecting the SteadyLAN-compatible printer to the Internet via wired LAN and connecting the printer and an iPad with a Lightning-USB cable, the iPad can use the Internet without Wi-Fi communication. At the same time, the iPad can communicate with the printer via USB or LAN and can be charged from the printer.
SteadyLAN is available on the following mC-Print models: mCP21LB, mCP31L, and mCP31LB.

MG-Scales
NTEP Certified. Legal for Trade.
Star Micronics’ line of MG-Scales add to the already innovative line of value-added products that Star Micronics has to offer. Built with a variety of markets in mind, MG-Scales have the ability to improve business operations in the grocery, pharmacy, and cannabis industries.
Regulations specify that scales used in direct communication with a POS system must follow a strict communication standard, NTEP, to be used for commerce. Star’s new scales are the first to market following this NTEP certification, allowing them to be used to sell into any market as per NTEP requirements and will communicate directly with your customer’s POS system.
