RFID

High efficiency asset and inventory visibility technology

What is Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)?

RFID is a tech that lets objects be tracked and identified through radio waves. It involves tags, which are tiny chips that hold data, and readers that pick up this data from the tags when they're close by. These tags can be passive, getting power from the reader's signal, or active, having their own battery to send signals further. RFID is used for things like checking out books from a library automatically, making payments, and keeping track of inventory in stores.
