WAVE ID® Plus
rf IDEAS' WAVE ID® Plus is a dual frequency programmable card reader that provides the advantages of reading both proximity and contactless smart cards in one reader. This reader allows users to leverage their employee ID badges, or any 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz tags or labels, for other forms of secure authentication and identification throughout the workplace.
As a card and badge enroller or reader, it emulates a keyboard to keystroke the card’s data to the cursor’s location in an application. The reader can be configured to add keystrokes and commands before or after the card’s data.
The WAVE ID Plus reader can be used as a stand-alone unit, or can be seamlessly integrated with other software applications using the optional Software Developer’s Kit (SDK). As an integrated reader it has the ability to work with a multitude of applications.

WAVE ID® Nano
The WAVE ID® Nano reader incorporates all the features of the desktop and surface mount readers into an ultra-compact USB format. Its small size makes it easy for embedding into monitor housings, connecting to printers or for the mobile worker to do their job while complying with organizational guidelines for authentication, identification and access. The WAVE ID Nano reader mounted in a laptop or tablet can help IT organizations protect valuable information while giving employees the ability to freely go to where the work is with the assurance of security, easy identification and simple access. WAVE ID® Mobile
The Future is Mobile!
The WAVE ID® Mobile is a dual frequency programmable card reader with integrated Bluetooth® low energy technology. In addition to reading both proximity (125/132 kHz) and contactless (13.56 MHz) smart cards, the reader also interacts with sensors and mobile devices that are enabled with Bluetooth low energy. Depending on the end user's application software, it can be configured to utilize BLE beaconing to serve a wide variety of use cases such as in-building location, item tracking and secure authentication. The BLE gives flexibility to use either badges or mobile devices.
Also available as the SDK (or 82 Series) model, WAVE ID Mobile can integrate into most software or hardware using the rf IDEAS Universal Software Developer’s Kit (SDK). The SDK readers use a callable DLL or other direct integration methods rather than keystroking (emulating a keyboard device).

WAVE ID® SP Plus
The ultra-slim, dynamic WAVE ID® SP Plus merges form with function for multi-purpose authentication, identification and logical access. Its small, thin form factor enables various integrated or OEM installations in recessed compartments as well as external mounting configurations. It can fit into a variety of purpose-built devices such as time clocks, kiosks or protective enclosures.
For application integration, the WAVE ID SP Plus is also available as a non-keystroking reader that integrates with partner or end-user software using the rf IDEAS Universal Software Developer’s Kit (SDK). Raw card ID data is seamlessly passed to the application enabling nearly limitless possibilities for user identification, authentication and reporting purposes.
Due to its ultra-slim, multi-purpose form factor, the WAVE ID SP Plus is the reader of choice to secure access to multi-function printers (MFP) and network connected copiers. MFPs are vulnerable to external security attacks but when used with secure print management software, enterprises can easily manage sensitive data and track employee usage.
